In celebration of the World Interact Week from 3rd to 9th November, Rotary Club of Jamshepdur West organised an Inter-school Folk Song Competition “Swarotsav” amongst its adopted Interact Clubs. The event was hosted at Kerala Samajam Model School, Golmuri and students of Kerala Samajam Model School, Motilal Nehru Public School, Kasidih High School and Vikas Vidhyalaya participated in this competition. Judges for the event were Rtn. Indu Gandhi and Ms Amrita Choudhury. he event concluded with a note of appreciation for all participants and teachers who encouraged the students to preserve and promote India’s vibrant folk traditions.
