On 18th November’25, Rtn. Dr. Sujata Mitra conducted a Cervical Awareness Vaccination program at Andhra Bhakti Sri Ram Mandiram, Bistupur. The event was graced by Mrs. Shailaja Sunder Ramam of AIWC and President Rtn. Ashok Jha of Rotary Club of Jamshedpur West, who also shared insights on the collective initiatives being undertaken to safeguard women’s health.Around 40 students and parents, including the Principal and Secretary of the school, attended the session. Participants gained valuable awareness about cervical cancer, its prevention, and the availability of HPV vaccination for girls aged 9 to 14 years. Counselling for parents has been completed, and once consent forms are signed, a vaccination camp will be organized at the school as the next step in this important initiative.
