On 22nd, 23rd and 24th December, a Mobile Cancer Screening Camp was held at Laujora and nearby Boram village. The van is part of a Global Grant Project by Rotary Club of Jamshedpur West amounting to 89,206$. The camp was organised by Meherbai Tata Memorial Hospital and the operational expenses amounting to Rs 61,000/- over 3 days were sponsored by Tata Steel Foundation. A total of 86 beneficiaries at the villages were screened for Breast, Cervical & Oral cancer.
