The cancer van was procured by Rotary Club of Jamshedpur West and handed over to Meherbai Tata Memorial Hospital on 7th Dec25, who is their operating partner. Facility and Equipment Information provided in the van : 1. Mammography for Breast Cancer Screening, 2. Pap Smear facility and Colposcope for Cervical Cancer detection and treatment of suspicious lesion, 3. Oral Scan for detection of oral cancer, 4. Audio-visual set-up for cancer awareness sessions. The van will be manned by MTMH staff- Data Entry Operator, Radiographer, Nurse, Medical Officer for conducting the camps. Present Tie-up is with RSB and Tata Steel Foundation for ground mobilisation and help in the camps.
